How do I get pictures small enough to fit in the photo frame charms that hang on the Tapestree Family Tree?
A question we hear every day, and one that we have created a simple solution for. Our proprietary Web Based Photo Sizing Tool will assist you in quickly and easily resizing your digital photos and save them as a single jpeg which can be printed at home or sent to a photo processor. |

My Photos Are Too Big When I Try To Print them Out
This issue occurs when you are trying to print the jpeg file created by our tool at home on a printer. The jpeg created is a 4x6 and when the photos come out to big your printer is resizing them to an 8.5 x 11 regular sheet. You must tell your printer you are printing a 4x6 photo or adjust your printers preferences to not scale to page.
Some Of The Photos Uploaded To The Resizing Tool Appear Distorted On The Display or After I Download My Finished jpeg
This issue occurs on some photos taken with iphones with older software and photos taken using the live function. While infrequent with newer phones and software if this occurs simply crop the photo you are trying to use outside of our tool and then reload it. We find that this usually solves this issue.
Prior to printing your 4x6 with the resized photos you should check that all of the individual photos appear correct as this issue may only show up in the final download.
I Have Older paper photos I Want To Use But Don't Have Access To A Scanner, How Can I Upload Them To Your Tool
For a quick and easy solution - Take a picture of the photo with your phone's camera to create a digital file then upload it to our resizing tool.

Yes we do offer photo resizing but suggest you take a look at our proprietary photo resizing utility which make resizing your photos fast and easy.

We'll give you a code and email address where you and your family can email your digital pictures. We will resize your pictures to fit your photo frames and send you an email with a 4x6 photo that can be printed wherever you print your photos. All you need to do is print the 4x6 photo, cut the photos out and insert them into your frames and your Family Tree is complete.
